We are so excited to share with you our future plans of planting C3 Gore!!
The dream of church planting in Gore has been a seed God had placed in our hearts over a decade ago. Although dormant, the idea of church planting has always stirred our spirits but we were never quite sure about timing. Thankfully, God’s timing is perfect and with His divine unction we have entered the germination phase of planting what will be a thriving,
faith filled church in the mighty rural ‘city’ of Gore!

Thankfully, God’s timing is perfect and with His divine unction we have entered the germination phase of planting what will be a thriving,
faith filled church in the mighty rural ‘city’ of Gore!
We are no strangers to Gore (Ben was born there), nor to church planting. Ben has been a part of 4 church plants, and Ivy, 3. We were part of the group of crazy youth and young adults that Pastors Dave and Shiree somehow inherited when they landed back on Southland soil to plant the C3 church you are a part of now (that is a crazy story in itself, …. which also involves Gore!). What a journey, C3 Invercargill! We love being in the support crew but have never been the ones, until now, to take the initials steps into a new church plant. Man, God is good. We are making plans to relocate to Gore (hopefully towards the end of 2025) and start fresh into 2026 as part of the community. The plan is to launch Church in early 2026.
The town of Gore has such a rich value in community and that speaks right to our personalities and giftings as a family. We love sharing meals and doing life together with people. We believe Spirit filled connection, hospitality and fellowship will be the backbone of C3 Gore and the love of Jesus and revelation of who God is will be at the foundation.
We are so thankful to step in to a new day and a new land from a place and people, who have loved and nurtured our family so dearly (you guys). We feel so blessed by you all. Thank you for your prayers, words, encouragements, and scriptures shared. It means so much to us. Part of our testimony is that whole families thrive in this church, and that is part of our prayer for C3 Gore.
Provision from build to reach is such a wonderful and practical encouragement that we are being obedient to what God is calling our family to do. Thank you for backing and supporting the advancement of the kingdom of God in this way. We love that we can partner together towards fulfilling the great commission. Please pray with us that we steward resources well with wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit.
